More Money in Your Pocket

The Household Support Fund (HSF) can help people with their food, energy and other essential household costs. The Department for Work and Pensions has provided further funding to cover the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Fuel support

Winter fuel support for pensioners

We're going to use some of the Household Support Fund to support pension-age residents over the winter who receive Council Tax Support but aren't eligible for Pension Credit. This will be reviewed in line with any changes the government make to the eligibility criteria for the Winter Fuel Payment.
