Under age sales

There are strict laws that make it illegal to sell certain items to children and young people.

Some items are considered to present a real risk to children and young people's health and welfare, including:

  • alcohol
  • tobacco
  • fireworks and
  • knives

It's illegal to sell age-restricted products to you people, who are below the specified age limit. Traders who do so can be prosecuted and may lose their livelihood.
