Our award-winning, lively and historic market is right the heart of Barnsley town centre. Trading since 1249, it's one of the largest markets in the north of England with over 100 stalls. It also includes the fantastic Market Kitchen, with traditional cafes and a range of food outlets.

Hoyland, Penistone and Wombwell also have their own vibrant local markets.
