We held a referendum on 19 October 2023. A majority of those who voted were in favour of the Plan being used to help us decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area. On 7 December 2023, we resolved to make the Silkstone Neighbourhood Plan. It now forms part of the statutory development plan for Barnsley.
