SEND children under the looked after category
SENDIASS work closely with children and young people who are looked after, as well as the carers who support them. We have strong links with kinship carers and provide direct Information, Advice and Support (IAS) to special guardians, adopters and other carers of children who have, or may have, SEND. Throughout 2025, we delivered training sessions for kinship carers and continue to support many kinship, foster and SGO carers who use our service.
